This is a saignee style rose made from fifty percent Cabernet Sauvignon, thirty five percent Shiraz, ten percent Merlot and five percent Chardonnay. A quarter of the wine was fermented in oak and left on lees for four months time, the remainder was fermented in stainless steel at a cool temperature.
Our 2017 Rose is vibrant and fresh, showing bright red fruits and herbs on the nose. Watermelon and strawberry interplay with zippy cherry sherbet sweet and sour tang, the flavour explosion is rounded out with a creamy, textural mouthfeel rounding out a light, refreshing and food friendly wine.
