The fruit cam from the Mt. Panorama Estate Vineyard and was hand harvested on 9 March. The grapes were crushed lightly leaving about 10 % whole berries and transferred to open fermenters before being cold soaked for 5 days prior to the commencement of fermentation. 25% had Cultured yeast added, 75% had no added yeast, the wine fermented for 15 days prior to ageing in old french oak for 15 months.

A spice mix of clove, pepper grind, mace and anise greets the nose. Violet, too. Blueberry and iodine sweep across the mid palate, while a thread of tannins weaves a well-defined relaxed finish. An excellent and affordable table wine. Of place. Of variety.
